Essential Functions
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures
Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Assists in recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees.
Conducts new-employee orientations and onboarding process.
Receive, maintain and audit Employee Referral Bonus program and ensure timely payments for referees.
Handles employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing. Acts as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR related matters.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations and employment laws.
Prepare reports, stats, forms, employment verification letters, etc.
Special projects and other duties as assigned 
Education, Experience and Qualifications
PHR (Professional Human Resources) Certification desirable.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organization Development or equivalent.
Five years of progressive experience in Human Resources position.
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
Strong interpersonal skills both oral and written.
Strong understanding of state and federal requirements and regulations.
Experience administering employee benefit plans, recruitment and compensation plans.

Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance. 
Working Conditions
Typically sits for extended periods at a computer workstation.
